Sausages, three or more per person
Potatoes, one per person
Large onions, half per person
Fat-low cream
Powdered black pepper


Slice the sausages in or just make little incisions into them. Peel the potatoes and cut them in slices. Repeat with the onions. Preheat the oven at 200 ºC. Put in a oven’s tray a layer of potatoes, over it another of onions, other with sausages, etc., including pouring over each potatoes layer a bit or black pepper. Cover completely with milk and cream in similar quantities and bake for 25 minutes. The milk and cream will tend to evaporate until a bit of sauce is left in the tray.


When cooked pour over a bit of grated cheese and grill until toasted. You can also add to the spaces in the layers some cloves of garlic to improve sauce’s flavour.


You can use any type of meat, for instance, chicken.
